Chinese P2P lender Weidai starts trading on NYSE

Chinese peer-to-peer (P2P) lender Weidai, which means “microlending” in Chinese, has started trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) last Thursday, ringing the opening bell to celebrate its scaled-backed initial public offering (IPO).
