<p>Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has topped the list of law firms advising companies on mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;As), in terms of deal value, in the January-March quarter.</p>
<p>The firm climbed 49 places from its year-ago ranking of 50 to top the list, advising on seven deals worth $3.2 billion, according to financial data provider Mergermarket.</p>
<p>Khaitan &amp; Co. acted as the legal adviser on 15 M&amp;A transactions, and topped the list of law firms involved in the most number of deals.</p>
