Jakarta-based fintech platform Pintek, which focuses on the education sector, bagged $5.7 million in equity funding this week, per its regulatory filings. The capital infusion is part of a $7 million Series A round announced last week.
New investor Kaizenvest contributed $4 million to become one of the startup’s top three shareholders. Finch Capital pumped in $450,000, while Rocket Internet invested $200,000. Other investors include Blauwpark Partners ($150,000), Accion and STRIVE ($130,000 each).
