Venturi Partners announces top-level elevations

Singapore-based fund manager Venturi Partners has announced the elevation of Rishika Chandan and Sarvesh Nevatia to the roles of managing director and executive director, respectively.

Both Chandan and Nevatia bring strong entrepreneurial and operating experience to Venturi and have been instrumental in setting the overall ethos and culture of the firm.

The appointments come after Venturi Partners fully closed its debut consumer-focused fund at $175 million in April.

In her new role as managing director, Chandan will continue to work closely with investors, founders and partners across India and Southeast Asia and scale the Venturi Partners platform.

As executive director, Nevatia will lead investments in Southeast Asia and continue to work closely with all the stakeholders to drive the fund’s growth in the region.

“I am extremely proud to be able to announce the promotions of Rishika and Sarvesh. Their motivation, drive and alignment with Venturi’s core values have been instrumental in reaching our final close and in closing our second and third deals. Venturi’s team is built on the core values of entrepreneurship, collaboration, trust and transparency, and both Rishika and Sarvesh fully embody this. They are part of the foundations on which Venturi is built and will play a key role, I am sure, in the long-term success of Venturi,” said Nicholas Cator, Venturi’s managing partner.

Founded in 2019 by Cator, a veteran consumer investor, Venturi Partners is an Asia-focused investment platform that enables consumer-facing business startups to build disruptive brands in India and Southeast Asia.

The firm provides growth funding to customer-centric, purpose-driven brands in India and Southeast Asia, with a focus on education, healthcare and fast-moving consumer goods, that have a shared desire to create a positive impact on the world.
