Finnish asset manager Elite Alfred Berg (EAB) on Friday announced that it is acquiring interest in Fortum’s India solar portfolio to tap the investment opportunity in the country’s renewable energy market.
The transaction will allow Elite Alfred Berg to launch an Indian solar power fund, providing a vehicle for international institutional investors to participate in solar power projects in the country, according to a statement.
