Switzerland-based Airbnb management company <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=GuestReady" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GuestReady</a> has raised $3 million from <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Impulse+VC" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Impulse VC</a> and other investors in its seed funding round,which will allow it to expand into new markets.
The found also saw participation from Xponova and Boost Heroes, the VC firm led by Fabio Cannavale, founder of the Lastminute Group, and others.
Existing investors Swiss Founders Fund and Senn &amp; Partners also renewed their investments in the round. Impulse VC, founded in 2013, is a business incubator and funds tech companies covering its portfolio in e-commerce, hardware, internet service and mobile.
“We have also completed the acquisition of Easy Rental Services. Since its launch three years ago, the company has developed operational excellence in its home markets London and Paris,” said Alexander Limpert, CEO and co-founder of GuestReady.
Since the launch in August 2016, GuestReady has boosted its total portfolio to about 6000 apartments using technology and has focused exclusively on fully managed properties on short platforms like Airbnb, HomeAway and Booking.
“It syncs real time with sales-side platforms like Airbnb, and provides a lean logistical setup that allows it to minimize the turnaround time between guests,” the property-tech startup said in their release.
Currently operating across five cities globally &#8211; Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and London &#8211; the investment has lifted GuestReady’s total funds raised to $3.7 million.
During the previous years, GuestReady has been focusing on developing a product for property owners to have a full visibility and control of the calendars and financials of their properties and moving forward, they are planning to look into the B2B space. This will include building a product to automate and streamline property management tasks.
More efforts will be put by GuestReady to better support the recently announced programme named, “Select” of Airbnb for wealthy travellers.
