Swedish investment firm EQT Partners is said to be considering the launch of its next Asia mid-market fund, a vehicle that may be much larger than its $800-million predecessor. The proposed vehicle is intended to enable EQT to maintain its investment momentum in the region.

The firm is at an early stage of discussions for going to market with EQT Mid Market Asia IV as the predecessor fund has already committed about 60 per cent of its corpus, a source aware of the development told DEALSTREETASIA.
