Warburg-backed ESR to invest $215m in Greater Tokyo logistics facility

Warburg Pincus-backed logistics real estate major ESR on Tuesday announced it plans to invest about 24 billion yen ($215 million) in developing a new logistics facility in the Greater Tokyo Bay Area in Japan.

The four-storey facility, ESR Ukishima DC, will have a gross floor area (GFA) of 66,930 square metres (720,428 square feet). Construction will commence in March 2021, with completion expected in August 2022.
