<h3>Swiggy invests in Fingerlix</h3>
<a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Swiggy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Swiggy&#8217;s</a> parent company Bundl Technologies has invested Rs 31.2 crore ($4.3 million) in the ongoing Series C funding round for ready-to-cook food startup <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Fingerlix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fingerlix</a>.
Since July last year, the startup has raised funds from investors including Accel Partners, Zephyr, RB Investments, Alteria Capital, among others. According to Crunchbase, Fingerlix had till March raised a total of $12.6 million.
Founded in 2016 by Shree Bharambe and Shripad Nadkarni, the Mumbai-based startup is looking to raise a total of Rs 63 crore in this round, The Economic Times <a href="https://tech.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/startups/swiggy-takes-a-bite-of-fingerlix-invests-rs-31-crore-in-food-brand/68153135">reported</a>.
<h3>WaterBridge, Binny Bansal back Nymble</h3>
Bengaluru-based cooking robot maker <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Nymble Labs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nymble Labs</a> has raised an undisclosed amount in funding from early-stage venture capital firm <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=WaterBridge Ventures" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WaterBridge Ventures</a>, Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, and 021 Capital.
Others who participated in the round included Grey Orange Robotics founders Samay Kohli and Akash Gupta, Silicon Valley venture capitalist Asha Jadeja Motwani, and a clutch of high-profile angels.
The fresh funding would be deployed towards product development and innovation, expansion of technical team and setting up presence in China and the USA, the startup said in a statement. It also plans to use the funds to conduct a closed set of user trials with its end customers, apart from augmenting its technology capabilities.
Founded in 2016, Nymble is building a cooking robot, Julia, which can use AI and machine learning to learn about user taste and preference and can cook most single pot meals.
<h3>MakeMyTrip&#8217;s Deep Kalra invests in Dunzo</h3>
<a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Dunzo Digital Pvt. Ltd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dunzo Digital Pvt. Ltd</a>, which runs a daily task management app, has raised $6.5 million from a clutch of new and existing investors including Deep Kalra, the chairman and group CEO of <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=MakeMyTrip" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MakeMyTrip</a>, VCCircle <a href="https://www.vccircle.com/makemytrip-s-deep-kalra-others-bet-on-task-management-app-dunzo/">reported</a>.
Dunzo raised the sum at a valuation of $50-51 million, the report said.
Earlier this month, the startup had raised $3.1 million in a Series C round of funding from early-stage venture capital firm Blume Ventures and others. In November, Dunzo had reportedly raised Rs 7 crore ($962,500) by issuing non-convertible debentures to venture debt firm Alteria Capital.
Dunzo, initially launched on WhatsApp in 2015, is an app that connects users with the nearest available delivery partner to help pick up or deliver items.
