Cryptocurrency is a blue ocean in the Philippines, says First Shoshin's Enrile

While cryptocurrency has almost reached a saturation point in other parts of the world, it remains a blue ocean in the Philippines, which perhaps explains the growing investor interest in the local industry, Jack Ponce-Enrile, co-founder and chairman of local tech investor First Shoshin Holdings Corporation, told DealStreetAsia in an exclusive interaction.

“While we are one of the fastest-growing countries in terms of adoption as well as volume of transactions relative to users, there are still many Filipinos who can invest in crypto but are not doing so,” Enrile said.
