Dutch development bank FMO has proposed a $10-million loan to Chamroeun Microfinance to help grow the latter’s offering to mostly female borrowers in Cambodia.

Chamroeun, a regulated microfinance institution, provides financial services to the poorest segments of Cambodian society, who are not served by the more commercial microfinance firms.
