PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel’s venture capital firm Founders Fund has raised $1.5 billion for a new fund that will invest in older, larger companies.
According to the company’s filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Founders Fund VII LP secured $1.496 billion in commitments from 203 investors barely three weeks after the fund was launched.
