Frasers Property Limited has appointed Lim Hua Tiong as chief executive officer for Frasers Property Vietnam, while Indosuez Wealth Management named Woo Ting May as head of investment advisory in Singapore.

Frasers Property appoints Vietnam CEO

Singapore-listed Frasers Property Limited has appointed Lim Hua Tiong as chief executive officer for Frasers Property Vietnam, according to an announcement.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Lim reports to Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, group chief executive officer of Frasers Property Limited.

Lim brings with him close to 20 years of experience in the real estate and finance sectors. He was most recently chief executive officer, Vietnam for CFLD International, and prior to that, general manager of Vietnam for CapitaLand Limited.

The appointment demonstrates how Frasers continues to look forward to building a sustainable platform while seeking the right growth opportunities in Vietnam, according to Sirivadhanabhakdi.

It follows Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management’s appointment of Richard Ng as chief executive officer-designate in April.

Frasers Property made its foray in Vietnam in 1999 with the development of a 22-storey retail/office building Me Linh Point Tower in District 1, the Central Business District of Ho Chi Minh City.

The group total assets stood at approximately S$33.2 billion as of 31 March 2019.

Indosuez names Singapore’s head of investment Advisory 

Indosuez Wealth Management, the international private banking arm of France’s Credit Agricole, has named Woo Ting May as head of investment advisory in Singapore, according to an announcement.

Based in Singapore, Ting May leads the investment advisory team and works closely with relationship managers to articulate investment strategies, offering highly sophisticated and personalised portfolios to protect and enhance the wealth of the bank’s HNW and UHNW clients.

She reports to Julien Collin, Head of Markets, Investment & Structuring in Singapore.

Ting May, who has more than 16 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, was earlier director of the active portfolio advisory team of UBS.

Before that, Ting May managed the investment desk at BMO Private Bank, Singapore. She also worked at OCBC Bank and American Express Bank.

Indosuez Wealth Management is the global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole group with EUR 122.8 billion in assets under management (as of December 31, 2018).
