Free Fire ban raises the risk profile of Sea Ltd’s India aspirations

Sea Ltd’s annual general meeting (AGM) would normally be a celebration of the past year’s achievements, potentially laying out some forward-looking optimistic statements. 

The NYSE-listed firm’s AGM on February 14 this year was eclipsed by news that India had banned Sea Ltd-owned game Free Fire along with 54 other apps of Chinese origin over security concerns.
