Singapore's GIC to pick 19.9% stake in US-based Duke Energy unit for $2b

Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC has agreed to acquire a 19.9 per cent stake in Duke Energy Indiana (DEI), a subsidiary of American electric power holding firm Duke Energy, in a $2.05-billion deal.
