Glints, a Singapore-headquartered recruitment platform, has raised $6.8 million in Series B funding led by Monk&#8217;s Hill Ventures, according to a statement.
Other investors joining the oversubscribed round include Hong Kong-based MindWorks Ventures and existing backers Fresco Capital and Wavemaker Partners.
Glints said, the fresh capital will be used to grow its product and engineering teams, and expand into Vietnam and Hong Kong.
Launched in 2015, Glints offers a &#8220;full-stack&#8221; tech approach to recruitment, matching experienced recruiters with job seekers. The platform automates recruitment processes such as candidate sourcing, matching, and follow-ups, and offers its services free-of-charge until companies find themselves a successful hire. Glints&#8217; clients include names like GoJEK, AIA, FWD Insurance, and UOB Bank.
Glints CEO and co-founder Oswald Yeo said: “We believe we have found the right growth model to solve the challenge of finding the best talent that is targeted, cost and time efficient for both clients and candidates.&#8221;
Yeo added that employers often have a tough time finding the right candidates on job portals and waste much time filtering through irrelevant applications. Meanwhile, traditional headhunters tend to be too expensive for many employers, especially when they are hiring for junior to mid-level positions.
Glints added that its clients make successful hires in an average of 28 days compared to industry 
standards of 40-50 days. Its recruitment costs are also 40%-100% cheaper than traditional recruiters.

Ong, managing partner of Monk’s Hill Ventures said: “Employers are struggling to fill their vacancies with a shortage of skilled talent worldwide, and it is no exception in Southeast Asia&#8230;The traction and strong growth we&#8217;ve seen is very exciting, which is why we decided to partner with Glints and lead the investment of their Series B round.&#8221;
Glints has several investors on its cap table.
In February last year, Singapore-listed recruitment group GRnetGroup picked up a stake in Glints for S$500,000 ($378,470) to help its subsidiary HRnet One stay ahead in the digital HR space.
In September 2016, Glints raised a $2 million Series A round led by Golden Equator Capital and Gobi Partners. Other participating investors in that round included Wavemaker Partners, Fresco Capital, East Ventures, Infocomm Investments, Pix Vine Capital, and angel investors like venture capitalist Darius Cheung.

The other investors joining the oversubscribed round include Hong Kong-based MindWorks Ventures and existing investors, Fresco Capital and Wavemaker Partners.
