India Digest: Godrej sells Snuggy; Ginger hotels sale; Phoenix-CPPIB buy land; Fortis update

Godrej Consumer Products has exited the baby care segment by selling its diaper brand Snuggy to Nobel Hygiene while the combine of Sunil Kant Munjal of Hero Enterprises and the Burman family of the Dabur group besides Radiant Life Care have dropped out from Fortis’ bidding process. In the realty space, Ginger Hotels is planning to sell six properties while The Phoenix Mills and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB)-owned investment platform has acquired a land parcel in Wakad, Pune.
