Gogoprint has announced the acquisition of Indonesian printing startup Prinzio for an undisclosed amount, while Singapore-based 4FINGERS Group said it is buying 100 per cent of Mexican food outlet Mex Out.
<h3>Gogoprint acquires East Ventures-backed printing startup Prinzio</h3>
Singapore-based printing startup Gogoprint has announced the acquisition of Indonesian printing startup Prinzio.
No details were provided on the size of the transaction.
According to an official statement, the acquisition will allow Gogoprint to accelerate its growth into Indonesia and the Asia Pacific. The Singaporean startup also plans to invest heavily in Prinzio&#8217;s sales and marketing efforts to further increase its market share in Indonesia.
Prinzio&#8217;s staff will remain fully employed following the acquisition, with plans to further expand staff count. Its existing customers will also be gradually moved to Gogoprint&#8217;s platform.
Prinzio is backed by East Ventures and was founded by Riky Tenggara, a former Lazada and Rocket Internet executive, in 2016. Its clients include Google, Matahari Mall, IDN Times, OVO, aCommerce, Tokopedia, Berrybenka and Bhinneka.com.
The acquisition comes months after Gogoprint raised $7.7 million in a Series A funding round led by Online Printing Group. According to the Singapore-based printing company, it plans to expand into Australia, New Zealand and South Korea over the next 12 months.

Gogoprint claims the acquisition places it on track to become the market leader for Indonesia.
<h3>4FINGERS Group acquires 100 per cent ownership of Mexican Concept Mex Out</h3>
Singapore-based 4FINGERS Group is acquiring 100 per cent of Mexican food outlet Mex Out for an undisclosed amount.
This follows the Singapore company&#8217;s recent 50 per cent stake acquisition in Mad Mex, an Australian-Mexican restaurant brand. According to an official statement, 4FINGERS plans to re-brand the four Mex Out outlets into Mad Mex establishments in Q1 2019, making it one of the largest Mexican food and beverage concepts in Singapore.
“We are excited to be able to so quickly establish Mad Mex’s presence in Singapore, and are entering an exciting new phase. With Mad Mex’s strong brand and proven track record, we are very confident of its growth in the region,” said Vijay Sethu, Director of 4FINGERS.
4FINGERS aims to close the year with 14 outlets in Malaysia and intends to open three outlets in Australia and its first US outlet in Los Angeles in 2019.
