In Indonesia’s unicorn land, Gojek and Grab are in action yet again. While the former has rolled out a new feature called GoCar Instant from Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Grab has launched a new service with Sejasa.com in a bid to provide home cleaning service to customers.
Gojek launches GoCar Instant from Jakarta airport
Gojek has launched a new feature called GoCar Instant, a car-based transportation facility from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Long queues at the airport prompted the ride-hailing giant to launch the service.
Users can now opt for an ‘immediate pick-up’ option from designated pick-up points at Terminals 2D Arrivals. GOJEK also plans to make the service available at Arrival Terminal 1A and Domestic and International Terminal 3 airports.
There are airport officers stationed at pick-up points to direct users to their cars.
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Indonesia, catering to roughly 200,000 passengers daily.
Apart from GoCar Instant service, Gojek has also launched GoRide Instant at two commuter line stations at Depok Baru and Blora Market, which are adjacent to Sudirman Station and Dukuh Atas MRT Station in Jakarta.
Grab ties up with Sejasa.com
Grab has launched a new feature called Clean & Fix in collaboration with Sejasa.com, a Jakarta-based home service provider.
Sejasa.com is one of the startups that participated in the first cohort of Grab Velocity Ventures, the unicorn’s accelerator programme.
The service enables customers to enjoy a 30-day service guarantee besides providing insurance for any theft or damages on their property.
Sejasa.com, established in 2015, offers connects customers to contractors, interior designers, air conditioning technicians, cleaners and plumbers, among others.
