India Digest: Google, Paytm eye Future Retail; Aurobindo drops US deal; Motilal Oswal on Aspire Home; Senco IPO

Google is looking to join forces with Alibaba-backed Paytm Mall to form a consortium to bid for a 7-10 per cent stake in Kishore Biyani-led Future Retail as Amazon starts negotiations for the deal while Aurobindo Pharma has decided to shelve plan of acquiring Mallinckrodt’s specialty generics business in the US. In another development, Motilal Oswal, co-founder of Motilal Oswal Financial Services, has taken charge to revive the mortgage business Aspire Home Finance Corporation. In the markets space, SAIF Partners-backed jewellery maker Senco Gold has filed initial draft papers for IPO.
