GoTo commissioner and Adaro Energy president director Garibaldi Thohir has invested 70.55 billion rupiah ($4.87 million) in Indonesian express logistics player PT Tri Adi Bersama, known as AnterAja, according to a filing with the IDX. 
AnterAja is a subsidiary of Indonesian logistics player PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA).
Following the investment, Thohir will own a 10% stake in the firm. He has previously invested in multi-finance company BFI Finance and securities company Trimegah Sekuritas.
Post investment, ASSA&#8217;s ownership in AnterAja has come down to 49.5% from 55% earlier. And, the ownership of two other shareholders &#8211; PT Roda Bangun Selaras and Hong Kong-based Time Prestige Investments Limited &#8211; also decreased to 22.5% and 18%, respectively. 
&#8220;The presence of Garibaldi Thohir in AnterAja will help develop its business and make a positive impact,&#8221; ASSA spokesperson Hindra Tanujaya said. 
 AnterAja is the major contributor to ASSA&#8217;s revenue, accounting for 54% of the group&#8217;s total revenue of  2.8 trillion rupiah ($194.9 million) in 2021. ASSA committed to injecting around $50 million into its subsidiary in June 2021.
“This year, we target AnterAja&#8217;s contribution to be at 60-65% of ASSA’s revenue,” ASSA president director Prodjo Sunarjanto said. ASSA will remain the controlling shareholder in AnterAja, he added.
ASSA is owned by Indonesian businessman TP Rachmat, who is also the founder of Triputra Group. Triputra has business interests spanning manufacturing, trading and service, mining, agribusiness and pension fund sectors. 
ASSA&#8217;s used car subsidiary PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari was listed on the IDX earlier this year after raising $45.42 million in its IPO. The company is also preparing for the launch of its cargo services to support truck delivery in Q3 2022.
