US-based alternative investment management firm Hamilton Lane has filed to raise its second impact investment vehicle that seeks to generate attractive returns and positive social and environmental impact.

While it did not disclose the target on its US Securities and Exchange Commission filing, a document on Hamilton Lane’s website showed that the firm is targeting to raise $400 million for Hamilton Lane Impact Fund II. This would be significantly larger than the fund’s predecessor, which closed at commitments of more than $95 million.
