Hayleys Advantis, the transportation and logistics arm of Hayleys Group, has entered into a joint venture in Myanmar with Kusuhara Transportation Co Ltd of Japan and Myanmar Sedate Shipping &amp; Logistics Co Ltd, the Sri Lankan firm said.
The new JV is expected to further strengthen the logistics operations of Hayleys Advantis in Myanmar, launched earlier this year.
“Drawing strength from our wide partner network and five decades of expertise in the logistics sphere, Hayleys Advantis is geared to extend total logistics solutions to the Myanmar market, which has seen a massive influx of foreign investments in recent years,” said Ruwan Waidyaratne, managing director Hayleys Advantis.
“The partnership will undoubtedly strengthen our position in the country enabling us to better serve the Myanmar clientele,” he added.
