Singapore-founded <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/singaporehello-health-closes-1-5m-investment-45856/">Hello Health Group</a> has set enterd the Malaysia market with the launch of <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://hellodoktor.com/" target="_blank">HelloDoktor.com</a>, a healthcare information platform, the third such website it owns in Southeast Asia (after Vietnam and Indonesia).
The website, the company says, is tailored for Malaysians and will help to educate them on health issues and find answers to all their health dilemmas.
The company has plans to expand aggressively into the rest of Southeast Asia, after its latest entry into Malaysia, Hello Health said in an announcement. It already has established two healthcare platforms in Vietnam with <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://hellobacsi.com/" target="_blank">HelloBacsi.com</a> and in Indonesia with <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://hellosehat.com/" target="_blank">HelloSehat.com</a>
&#8220;This expansion to Malaysia comes only a couple months after the company announced the closing of their seed round, lead by CMG.ASIA, with a total funding of $1.5 million,&#8221; the statement said.
The company said that the decision to choose Malaysia as the next market was based on the fact that Malaysia is one of the countries in Asia with the most accelerated growth in healthcare. This has turned Malaysia into a popular medical travel destination in Southeast Asia, where the demand for reliable and comprehensive healthcare information keeps increasing.
The group that was founded last year has managed to build its team across Vietnam and Indonesia. The founders James Miles-Lambert and Mervyn Cheo to tackle the issue of poor online healthcare information that is of global scale and importance.
“We have seen significant demand for reliable and accurate healthcare information to be available digitally and we aim to satisfy this demand through the provision of our latest platform HelloDoktor,” said one of the founders, James Miles-Lambert.
Aside from the complete A to Z medical guide of thousands of health conditions, drugs, surgeries, medical tests, and other medical procedures, in HelloDoktor.com readers can also find information regarding healthy living, pregnancy, and parenting, as well as practical tips on those subjects.
Hello Health Group’s expansion plan is quite aggressive. After establishing presence in three countries in Asia, the company is planning to expand aggressively across South East Asia.
