IFC proposes debt investment of up to $50m in India's Aavas Financiers

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed a debt investment of up to $50 million in Jaipur-headquartered Aavas Financiers Limited (AFL), it said in a disclosure.

The investment would be carried out via a subscription to non-convertible debentures (NCD) issued by AFL or as a loan under the external commercial borrowings (ECB) guidelines, the disclosure said.
