The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed a senior loan of up to $50 million for Amret Plc, a microfinance deposit taking institution in Cambodia, according to a disclosure.
The proposed investment consists of an up to $25 million IFC A Loan and an up to $25 million B Loan to the company with at least 30 per cent of the loans expected to be used for women and women-owned micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cambodia.
