IFC proposes $76m investment in Chinese waste recycling firm GEM

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, has proposed an investment of RMB 500 million ($76 million) in GEM Co., Ltd. (GEM), a Chinese waste recycler and manufacturer of lithium-based battery materials.
