IFC proposes another $100m loan to Cambodia’s Hattha Bank

World Bank Group member International Finance Corporation (IFC) has proposed to invest up to $100 million in Cambodia’s Hattha Bank for lending to women-owned micro, small, and medium enterprises (WMSMEs) in the country.

In a disclosure, IFC said its proposed investment is a five-year senior loan of up to $100 million to Hattha Bank, formerly Hattha Kaksekar Limited (HKL), comprising an A Loan from IFC’s own account of up $25-50 million and a mobilisation of $50-70 million.
