IFC proposes $30m investment in healthcare third-party administrator MiCare

International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed an equity investment of up to $30 million in MiCare Sdn Bhd, a healthcare third-party administrator (TPA) headquartered in Malaysia.

The proposed investment will partly finance MiCare’s $100-million expansion in other countries in Southeast Asia as well as its potential acquisition of rival TPAs in the region, among others.
