IFC proposes $25m loan to Amartha Nusantra's P2P platform

World Bank Group member International Finance Corporation (IFC) has proposed investing $25 million in loan to the special purpose vehicle (SPV) to be set up by Indonesian fintech firm Amartha Nusantara Raya‘s (Amartha) P2P lending platform.

According to IFC’s disclosure, the proposed loan is for a senior tranche of asset-backed securities to be set up for pooling loan receivables originated by the P2P platform.
