IFC proposes to extend $50m loan to Rabobank's India unit

International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed a loan financing facility of up to $50 million for Dutch lender Rabobank’s India unit, Coöperatieve Rabobank U. A, Mumbai Branch (CRUA MB), according to a disclosure.

The proposed investment, which has a tenure of up to five years, aims to support the Rabobank Mumbai branch to expand lending to climate-smart agriculture and renewable energy projects in India.
