IFC proposes to extend $130m financing to Vietnam's SeABank

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank, is considering a $130-million senior loan to Hanoi-based Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) to support the lender’s plan to grow its climate financing, SME and retail portfolio, according to a disclosure.

The proposed financing package consists of up to $80-million from IFC’s own account and up to $50 million as a parallel loan.
