<article><a style="color: #000080;" href="http://inclineequity.com/" target="_blank">Incline Equity Partners</a>, one of Pittsburgh’s largest private equity firms, has made its first acquisition in Malaysia, in a conveyor manufacturer <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://flexmove.com/" target="_blank">FlexMove</a>.</article>

<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://inclineequity.com/" target="_blank">Incline Equity Partners</a>, one of Pittsburgh’s largest private equity firms, has made its first acquisition in Malaysia, in a conveyor manufacturer <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://flexmove.com/" target="_blank">FlexMove</a>.
FlexMove, which makes flexible chain conveyors, was purchased as an add-on for Incline’s portfolio company, Dorner Manufacturing Group, based in Heartland, Wisconsin, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.bizjournals.com/pittsburgh/blog/morning-edition/2016/02/private-equity-firm-does-first-malaysian-deal.html" target="_blank">according to BizJournal</a>.
Financials of the deal were not disclosed. 
Incline founding partner Wali Bacdayan commented: “We’ve done a number of deals in Canada and Europe, but this is our first add-on in Asia.”
The acquisition serves as a platform for Dorner’s growth in Asia and Europe. FlexMove’s conveyors strengthen Dorner’s offerings for applications with turns and elevation changes.
Bacdayan commented that it was “getting easier” to strike deals in the Southeast Asian region, but the acquisition really came down to the fact that FlexMove was “the right fit” for Dorner.
“We’re always looking for add-ons for our portfolio companies,” Bacdayan said. “This was a unique situation and worked out well.&#8221;
Incline, which launched in 2011, focuses on companies with an enterprise value ranging between $30 million and $150 million and invests $15 million to $30 million per transaction. It raised a $301 million fund in 2013.
