Carpooling app Orahi has acquired ride-sharing website Odd-Even.com and tech startup Servify has raised funding from Blume Ventures and two German firms.
<h3>Carpooling app Orahi acquires ride-sharing site Odd-Even.com</h3>
Gurgaon-based carpooling app <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.orahi.com/" target="_blank">Orahi</a> has acquired ride-sharing website <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.odd-even.com/">Odd-Even.com</a>, which was founded by a 13-year-old in January. The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
&#8220;The name is catchy and easy to remember. It currently has 30,000 users and we anticipate more users to register after the second phase of odd-even rule comes into effect on April 15,&#8221; says Arun Bhati, chief executive officer of Orahi.
Orahi claims that after the acquisition its combined user base will be 70,000.
In January, Orahi  raised Rs 3.5 crore (around $520,000) from the Indian Angel Network within less than three years of its existence. The amount is now being invested in platform building, marketing and team expansion. Orahi plans to expand to other cities Mumbai and Bangalore in the second quarter of 2016.
<h3>Servify raises pre-Series A funding from Blume Venture, others</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://servify.in/">Servify</a>, a tech startup that offers brand-authorised after sales support services for electronic gadgets, has raised pre-Series A funding of an undisclosed amount from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/blume-ventures">Blume Ventures</a>, Germany&#8217;s <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.barkawi.com/">Barkawi Holdings GmbH</a> and TM Service Technology Holdings GmbH.
The startup, which was founded in 2015, plans to use the latest round of funding for product development and marketing.
Servify claims to have 600 partners on its platform and close to 100,000 customers.
The consumer version of the app is currently available on Android and iOS platforms. The company expects to make services available for more brands in the next few months.
