Online meat retailer Zappfresh, ready-t0-cook food brand Fingerlix and B2B SaaS platform CustomerSuccessBox have raised funding.
<h3>Online meat retailer Zappfresh raises $3m</h3>
<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/zappfresh" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zappfresh</a>, the online meat retailer operated by Gurgaon-based DSM Fresh Foods Pvt. Ltd, has raised Rs 20 crore ($3 million) in a funding round led by Amit Burman, vice-chairman of <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/dabur" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dabur India Ltd</a>.
SIDBI Venture Capital also participated in the round which the startup plans to use to grow its supply chain, expand to other cities, and for hiring.
&#8220;The company would use the funds to hire people in key departments and increase storage capacity,&#8221; Zappfresh CEO and co-founder Deepanshu Manchanda said.
Zappfresh sells chicken, mutton and pork as well as pre-cooked items like cold cut ham, sausages and salami through its online portal.
<h3>Fingerlix raises $1.3m venture debt from Alteria Capital</h3>
Venture debt provider<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/alteria" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Alteria Capital</a> has made its maiden deal with ready-to-cook food brand <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/fingerlix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fingerlix</a>, by providing venture debt worth Rs 8.5 crore ($1.3 million).
The Mumbai-based startup plans to use the debt raised used towards building out Fingerlix’s production capacity, expansion of the product suite as well as growth into newer markets, as per an official statement.
In October last year, Fingerlix has raised $7 million from venture capital firm <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/accel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Accel Partners</a> and existing investor <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/zephyr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zephyr Peacock</a>, prior to which got $3 million from Zephyr Peacock.
Launched in 2016, Fingerlix sells a range of products including batters, mixes, parathas, snacks, Upma Mix and Biryani Mix, among other items. It began delivering in Mumbai and Pune, followed by the national capital region (NCR) and is currently expanding to Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.
<h3>CustomerSuccessBox raises $1m from pi Ventures, Axilor</h3>
CustomerSuccessBox, which offers a technology platform for B2B SaaS (Software as-a-Service) companies, has raised $1 million from  early-stage investment firm <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/pi-ventures" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pi Ventures</a>.
The pre-Series A funding, which also saw participation from <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/axilor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Axilor Ventures</a>, will be used to drive growth and product innovation, according to an official statement.
Founded in 2016, CustomerSuccessBox offers a cloud SaaS platform that helps a business in acquiring customers, on-boarding and managing users, and retaining customers using targeted campaigns. This allows businesses to market their products or services to the relevant audience and keep a check on churn rates.
The startup also helps businesses to communicate with their clients within the software platform, and keep a record of business data, including contact information, purchase history, contract length, discounts and renewals.
