<h3>Car service provider Pitstop raises $1.6m from Blume, Goldbell</h3>
<p>Aftersales car service provider <strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/pitstop" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pitstop</a></strong> has raised $1.6 million from its existing investors in a round led by Singapore-based <strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/goldbell" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Goldbell Group</a></strong> and venture capital firm<strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/blume-ventures" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Blume Ventures</a></strong>.</p>
<p>The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use this pre-Series A round to scale up its doorstep services across Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR besides strengthening its technology infrastructure, according to an official statement.</p>
<p>In September last year, Pitstop, operated by Chatpay Commerce Pvt. Ltd, had raised $1 million from Blume Ventures, Goldbell Group, and a group of angel investors.</p>
<p>In March, the company had acquired <strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/motorwhiz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MotorWhiz</a></strong>, a mobile platform for car service and repair jobs, for an undisclosed amount in a cash-and-stock deal.</p>
<h3>Info Edge picks up stake in ShoeKonnect for $450k</h3>
<p><strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/info-edge" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Info Edge (India) Ltd</a></strong>, the parent company of Naukri.com, has invested Rs 3 crore ($450,000) in B2B marketplace for footwear industry ShoeKonnect.</p>
<p>The Agra-based startup plans to use the funding to strengthen its technology base to scale up operations and to expand its user base.</p>
<p>According to a filing to the stock exchanges, Info Edge said the acquisition will help the Noida-based firm to diversify into a new line of business within the internet services industry.</p>

<p>The aggregate shareholding of Info Edge, post this initial investment, in ShoeKonnect would be 20 per cent on fully converted &amp; diluted basis.</p>

<p>Delhi-based online travel marketplace <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/tripshelf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Tripshelf</strong> </a>has raised fresh funding of Rs 1.6 crore ($240,000) from a group of professional investors including micro VC <strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/gems-advisory" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GEMS Advisory</a></strong>, as part of its on-going pre-Series A funding round.</p>

<p>Angel investors including Alok Mittal of Indifi; Sachin Bhatia, Co-Founder of MakeMyTrip &amp; Truly Madly; Anita Gupta, Global Equity Strategist; Singapore Angel Network; and Alka Puri, IIM-C Alumnus &amp; Founder of Roads Ahead Consult; amongst other HNIs also participated in this latest funding.</p>
<p>The company had first raised its pre Series-A Funding round from GEMS Advisory in mid-2016. With this funding, the total amount raised by the startup now stands at  Rs 3.2 crore, according to an official statement.</p>
<p>&#8220;The earlier funds we raised in 2016 were being used to establish unit economics’ profitability, and set up the talent pool. This time, with the fresh capital, we look forward to onboarding more tour operators in our platform, improve overall consumer experience, and also increase the products listed on the site, thereby helping our consumers with a comprehensive search experience,&#8221; said Dhruv Raj Gupta, Co-Founder, Tripshelf.</p>
<h3>IDG, YourNest back robotics startup Emotix</h3>
<p>Mumbai-based robotics startup Emotix has raised $2 million in a funding round led by venture capital firms <strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/idg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IDG Ventures India</a></strong> and <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/yournest" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>YourNest</strong></a>, according to <a href="https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/small-biz/startups/newsbuzz/emotix-raises-2m-from-idg-ventures-india-yournest/articleshow/63904715.cms" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>a report</strong> </a>in The Economic Times.</p>
<p>The technology startup has created a personal companion robot, Miko, targeted at educating and entertaining children.</p>
<p>According to the news report, the capital will be used for new product development and research in consumer robotics focussed on emotional and artificial intelligence.</p>
<p>Founded in 2014, the startup had earlier raised a seed round of funding from undisclosed investors.</p>
