Loan provider app <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/florintree-buys-minority-stake-in-app-based-loan-provider-cashe-69250/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CASHe</a> has raised Rs 20 crore ($3.07 million) debt funding from <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=IFMR+Capital" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IFMR Capital</a> to ramp up its loan book, according to an Economic Times <a href="https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/small-biz/money/ifmr-capital-puts-rs-20-crore-in-cashe/articleshow/61179101.cms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">article</a>.
&#8220;This round of debt funding by IFMR Capital increases our capital pool which translates into higher loan disbursements, and more satisfied customers on a pan-India basis,&#8221; said V Raman Kumar, chairman, Aeris Financial Technologies to ET reporter.
In April, the company <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/florintree-buys-minority-stake-in-app-based-loan-provider-cashe-69250/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">raised</a> Rs 25 crore in its Series A round from Blackstone PE head Mathew Cyriac and other investors.
Since its launch in April 2016, CASHe has disbursed loans worth Rs 200 crore including Rs 23 crore alone in September.
<h3 class="tinymce-colortext" style="text-align: justify;">CL Educate to buy ICE GATE Educational Institute</h3>
<a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=CL+Educate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CL Educate</a> will acquire ICE GATE Educational Institute Pvt Ltd, an educational firm which provides coaching for GATE and related exams.
According to a BSE disclosure, the company will first buy 65 per cent stake in ICE GATE for Rs 8 crore in cash over a period of 27 months and the remaining 35 per cent stake will be acquired within five years, with an option of payment through the equity shares of the company on the basis of its performance.
In April, CL Educate, which went public earlier this year, hiked its holding in Accendere Knowledge Management Services Pvt Ltd to 100 per cent from 51 per cent, and in July, it invested Rs 8 crore in Threesixtyone Degree Minds Consulting Pvt Ltd.
