In two venture deals, dental care firm Vatsalya Centre for Oral Health and on-demand chauffeur provider Zuver have raised funding.
<h3>Vatsalya raises $1.65m in pre-Series A round from S-Squared Capital</h3>
Dental care firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.centrefororalhealth.in/" target="_blank">Vatsalya Centre for Oral Health</a> has raised Rs 11 crore ($1.65 million) in pre-Series A round of funding from S-Squared Capital Investments, a US-based investment firm.
Vatsalya will utilise the money for its expansion, to enhance technology and add to its team.
The company runs couple of dental clinics in Bangalore. It was founded in 2003 and is looking to add two more centres in the next one year.
Last month, serial healthcare entrepreneur <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=G+S+K+Velu" target="_blank">GSK Velu</a> has participated in the recently-closed $12 million fund raise by US-based dental lab chain Leixir.
<h3>On-demand chauffeur provider Zuver raises $180k angel funding</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="https://zuver.net.au/" target="_blank">Zuver</a> which is run by Jobbie Services India Pvt Ltd, has raised Rs 1.2 crore ($180k) from Shruth &amp; Smith Group, Bangalore and Pune-based Hermes Group.
An on-demand chauffeur providing startup which was launched in January this year, plans to use the funding for expansion and technology enhancement.
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/india-dealbook-online-marketing-platform-betaout-drivers-solution-app-driverskart-raise-funding-38020/">DriversKart</a>, another startup in the space, recently received an undisclosed amount of funding in pre-Series A round from ah! Ventures and others.
