<h3>Infosys acquires London-based Brilliant Basics for $9.8m</h3>
<p>Indian software services major <span style="color: #000080;"><strong><a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/infosys" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Infosys</a></strong></span> has signed an agreement to acquire London-based product design and customer experience Brilliant Basics for $7.5 million pound sterling ($9.8 million).</p>

<p>The acquisition is expected to close during the second quarter of fiscal 2018, subject to customary closing conditions, Infosys said in a filing to the stock exchanges.</p>

<p>“Adding Brilliant Basics’ design and CX capabilities has already proven to be invaluable, helping Infosys close large deals with a deep blend of skills,” said Ravi Kumar S, President &amp; Deputy COO, Infosys.</p>
<p>“Brilliant Basics will leverage the breadth and depth of Infosys Digital to drive Digital Transformation solutions, which connect our clients’ Systems of Record to new Systems of Engagement,” he added.</p>

<p>Infosys has digital studios across Bengaluru, Pune, New York, London and Melbourne. The addition of Brilliant Basics will enhance the company’s expertise in the financial services, retail and telecom sectors across Europe and the Middle East.</p>
<h3>Genpact acquires US-based OnSource</h3>
<p>Business process outsourcing firm <span style="color: #000080;"><strong><a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/genpact" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Genpact Ltd</a></strong></span> has acquired US-based OnSource, an inspection-as-a-service (IaaS) provider for insurance firms, for an undisclosed amount.</p>
<p>The deal will help Genpact gain access to advanced digital inspection technologies to claims management services, according to an official statement.</p>
<p>NYSE-listed Genpact said in a statement that this transaction builds upon its recent acquisition of BrightClaim and National Vendor that has significantly expanded the company’s US claims management capabilities.</p>
<p>“OnSource’s ability to disrupt insurance claims operations is a critical addition to our digital-led insurance service offerings,” said Sasha Sanyal, senior vice president – insurance at Genpact.</p>
