<h3>LetsMD raises $1m from Orios Venture</h3>
<p>Healthcare-focused fintech startup LetsMD has raised an additional $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round from early-stage investment firm Orios Venture Partners. According to a company statement, the investment is a combination of a primary and secondary transaction, including Rs 4 crore of new equity funding. Existing investors SRI Capital and Waterbridge Ventures also participated in the secondary transaction. The deal provided an exit to a majority of the company&#8217;s individual angel investors, as the company prepares for larger institutional financing rounds.</p>
<h3>Japanese firm picks up stake in Incut Digital</h3>
<p>Japanese consumer internet company istyle Inc has picked up stake in women-focussed content startup Incut Digital Pvt. Ltd, which runs online beauty and wellness community StyleCraze and parenting network MomJunction. According to a VCCircle<strong><a href="https://www.vccircle.com/exclusive-ventureast-strikes-gold-as-japan-s-istyle-backs-content-startup-incnut" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> report</a></strong>, the deal has provided an exit to venture capital investor Ventureast. The secondary transaction is pegged at Rs 25 crore (around $3.4 million).</p>
<h3>Indian Angel Network backs agritech startup FarmersFZ</h3>
<p>Agritech startup Farmers Fresh Zone (FarmersFZ) has raised seed funding of an undisclosed from the Indian Angel Network and its maiden venture capital fund IAN Fund, Malabar Angels and Native Lead. The investment from IAN was led by its two members Nagaraja Prakasam and PK Gopalakrishnan. According to a statement, the Kochi-based company plans to use the funds to expand its reach and strengthen customer acquisition. Under the terms of the deal Prakasam will join the company’s board.</p>
<h3>Edelweiss-backed Sekura acquires four projects from Essel Infra</h3>
<p>Edelweiss Infrastructure fund- backed Sekura Energy has agreed to acquire stake in two operating and two under-construction power transmission assets from Essel Infraprojects. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. While the operational projects are Darbhanga-Motihari Transmission and NRSS XXXI (B) Transmission, the under- construction projects are Warora-Kurnool Transmission and NRSS XXXVI Transmission which will be commissioned by FY20. The stake in the two under construction assets would be acquired post commissioning and these four projects have an enterprise valuation of Rs 60 billion.</p>
