Food-tech startup MealHopper which is run by Gurgaon-based MealHopper Technologies Pvt Ltd and Bangalore-based health food startup Jiyo Natural Pvt Ltd, have raised funding. 

<h3>MealHopper raises $100K from ixigo founders, others</h3>
<a href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=MealHopper" target="_blank">MealHopper</a>, a food-tech company which connects users with local cooks for homemade meals, has raised $100k in seed funding from Alok Bajpai and Rajnish Kumar, co-founders of <a href="http://ixigo.com/" target="_blank">ixigo.com</a>, <a href="http://www.vccircle.com/news/technology/2015/10/21/exclusive-mealhopper-raises-100k-ixigo-founders-others" target="_blank">VCCircle reported </a>citing company&#8217;s co-founder Avinash Singh.
General Mobile Technologies&#8217; CEO Amit Dey also participated in the round alongwith few unnamed investors, the report said. The food-tech startup will use the money to expand more into NCR region and will also hire more people.
MealHopper which only operates in Gurgaon presently, planning to launch its operations in three more cities by March 2016.

<h3>Jiyo Natural raises funding from Indian Angel Network (IAN)</h3>
<a style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Jiyo+Natural" target="_blank">Jiyo Natural</a>, a company which offers nutrition balanced, calorie monitored and chemical free food through web and app, has raised an undisclosed amount from Indian Angel Network (IAN), the company said in a release.
The round was led by Rajiv Mehta and Sumit Dhingra from IAN who will also join the board of the company. The funding will be used for marketing, technology and infrastructure to create brand awareness through online and on-the-ground marketing besides creating easy-to-use web and mobile apps, according to the release.
&#8220;With this investment, we intend to reach out to at least 80 per cent of Bangalore, before expanding to five other cities (Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, Chennai and Hyderabad) in the next expansion phase,&#8221; said, Rajesh SIngh, co-founder Jiyo Natural.
Jiyo Natural has its own kitchen and sells two meal packages under &#8216;Jiyo Health&#8217; and &#8216;Jiyo Manage&#8217;. The startup claims to grow at 10-15 per cent  annually.
