<h3>Info Edge puts more money into Wishbook</h3>
Info Edge (India) Ltd has invested Rs 2 crore more in business-to-business startup Wishbook Infoservices Pvt. Ltd.
On completion of the transaction, Info Edge’s stake in Wishbook will increase to 28.98 per cent from 21.88 per cent that it had acquired in July 2017 for Rs 3.5 crore, according to a filing to the stock exchanges.
Wishbook Infoservices operates sales catalogue aggregation app Wishbook. It allows catalogue distribution from manufacturers to distributors and wholesalers to retailers.
<h3>SpotDraft gets $1.5m funding from angel investors</h3>
Legal tech startup SpotDraft has raised $1.5 million funding in its pre-Series A round from a clutch of investors.
According to an official statement, the funding was led by Binny Bansal and Sailesh Tulshan’s fund 021 Capital, with participation from Girish Mathrubootham, Co-founder Freshworks; Karanpal Singh, Founder Hunch Ventures; Indus Khaitan, Chief of Growth, Chargebee; Peeyush Ranjan, VP Engineering, Google Inc. and Singapore Angel Network.
The startup plans to use the funds to grow its global footprint, target both large as well as small and medium enterprises that are looking to cut their legal expenses.
<h3>Apparel brand Turms secures angel funding</h3>
Bengaluru-based apparel brand Turms has closed an additional Rs 2-crore angel round led by Myntra co-founder Raveen Sastry, former Google executive Sree Unnikrishnan, FarEye cofounder Gautam Kumar, PremjiInvest Partners Rahul Garg and Atul Gupta, and former Flipkart executive Sanjay Ramakrishnan.
Turms will use these funds to invest in its brand, scale its product and technology team, launch experience centers, optimise supply chain and further invest in R&amp;D, the company said in a statement.
In October, Turms raised Rs. 6.3 crore from Girish Mathrubootham, Bijou Kurien, Subrat Pani, Mekin Maheshwari and other marquee angels.
