<h3>Dixon Tech plans 109m IPO in September</h3>
Contract manufacturer<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/dixon-tech" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Dixon Technologies</a> plans to float its initial public offer in the first week of September to raise nearly Rs 700 crore ($109 million) through a public offer, said <a href="http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/markets/ipos/fpos/noida-based-contract-manufacturer-dixon-plans-rs-700-crore-ipo-in-september/articleshow/60049971.cms">a report</a> in The Economic Times.
The Noida-based company plans to use the funds raised from the IPO to sett up a new plant for LED televisions and LED bulbs at Tirupati, paying off debt and getting into new businesses.
“With the new plant, we will be the third largest manufacturers of LED bulbs globally with capacity of 10 million a month,” Sunil Vachani, chairman and managing director, Dixon told the news paper. Dixon will also enter into security systems, cameras, recorders and digital video recorders.
Dixonmakes consumer electronics, home appliances, washing machines, mobile phones and lighting products for a number of brands including Panasonic, Phillips, Intex and Gionee.
The company, which got an approval from SEBI earlier this month, will raise fresh equity of Rs 60 crore through the offer.
<h3>Milestone Capital buys 50% stake in Pune IT park</h3>
Private equity firm <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/milestone-capital" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Milestone Capital Advisors</a> has acquired half of an IT park building promoted by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC),  in Pune for over Rs 160 crore ($25 million), said a <a href="http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/services/property-/-cstruction/milestone-buys-half-of-it-park-building-for-rs-160-crore-in-pune/articleshow/60050103.cms">report</a> in The Economic Times.
“This investment was made with a mix of debt and equity while our borrowing costs were much lower, thus generating a positive arbitrage of around 100 basis points,” Sandeep Chadha, partner at Milestone Capital Advisors, told The Economic Times.
Milestone has entered this transaction with an entry yield of around 9.5% to the property.
This is Milestone’s second investment through its fourth private real estate investment trust (REIT), called Milestone Commercial Advantage Fund.
“We are evaluating and in the process of undertaking due diligence of other Mumbai and Bengaluru assets. These transactions are likely to be concluded soon as we are in advanced discussions with owners of those assets,” Chadha added.
