<h3>At least 20  bid for Jaypee&#8217;s incomple realty projects</h3>
Around 20 firms have shown interest in completing the pending real estate projects of cash-strapped <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/jaypee-infra" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jaypee Infrastructure</a>, but investing around Rs 2,000 crore, according to a Times of India <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/20-bid-to-complete-jaypees-unfinished-realty-projects/articleshow/61600862.cms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a> quoting sources.
Interested parties include JSW-Jaypee Associates combine, Anil Agarwal&#8217;s Vedanta Group, Tata Realty, L&amp;T infra, the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF).
Essel Group, Lodha, IDFC, Deutsche Bank and two asset reconstruction companies submitted expressions of interest, for which the last date was October 17.
The matter will now be taken up by National Company Law Tribunal-appointed resolution professional to work out a solution within the prescribed 180 days, said the news report.
<h3>KIMS Hospitals raise $9m debt from Avendus Finance</h3>
Hospital chain <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/KIMS" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd (KIMS)</a> has raised Rs 60 crore ($9.2 million) in structured debt from<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/avendus" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Avendus Finance Pvt. Ltd</a>.
According to an official statement the lending arm of investment banking firm Avendus Capital, extended the debt to a special purpose vehicle floated by the promoter family of KIMS.
The Hyderabad&#8217;s based firm plans to use the funds to scale up its medical college business.
“Financing from Avendus helps provide the flexibility required for our family’s medical college business,” said Dr Bhaskara Rao, founder of KIMS.
At present KIMS Hospitals has 2,120 beds at six hospitals in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
