<h3>Promoters, shareholders plan to sell stake in ASK Financials for $80m</h3>
Promoters and individual shareholders of financial services group <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/ask-group" target="_blank">ASK Financials</a> are looking to sell stake to a private equity investor to raise about $75-80 million, as per <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/banking/finance/promoters-and-shareholders-of-ask-group-to-sell-stake-to-raise-75-80-mn/articleshow/53625214.cms">a report</a> in The Economic Times quoting sources.
&#8220;The deal will involve primary as well as secondary stake sale. Some of the existing individual investors now want to cash out,&#8221; said a source. &#8220;Depending on the valuation they get, the promoters too might look at selling either part or complete stake in the group.&#8221;
The group has appointed global investment bank Moelis to look for buyers and the initial process has started.
&#8220;Some of the top level executives would want to encash their holding in the group,&#8221; said another source, adding that the promoters and other shareholders along with the primary component would be looking to sell anywhere between 25 per cent and 30 per cent stake.
<h3>DS Group in talks to acquire Le Marche</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dsgroup.com/" target="_blank">DS Group (or the Dharampal Satyapal Group)</a> is in advanced talks to acquire gourmet food retailer <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.marcheretail.com/" target="_blank">Le Marche</a>, said <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/cons-products/food/ds-group-may-buy-le-marche-soon/articleshow/53625748.cms">a report</a> in The Economic Times citing sources.
&#8220;We are in talks with more than one buyer; nothing is conclusive yet,&#8221; Le Marche Retail director Nakul Yadav told The Economic Times. The move was aimed at expanding and focussing on the group&#8217;s other businesses which include hospitality, real estate and luxury salons.
&#8220;We could either divest Le Marche as a complete entity or divest part equity. We are exploring all options,&#8221; he added.
If it goes through, it will also be DS Group&#8217;s first acquisition. It has businesses spanning dairy, confectionery, snacks and beverages, hospitality, mouth fresheners, tobacco, packaging, agro forestry, rubber and infrastructure.
