Blackstone is set to acquire Coffee Day founder V G Siddhartha’s real estate venture Tanglin, while Bajaj Auto and Austrian firm KTM are restructuring their partnership.

<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/blackstone" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Blackstone</a> is partnering with south India-focused developer Salarpuria Sattva, to acquire Coffee Day founder <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/siddhartha" target="_blank" rel="noopener">V G Siddhartha’s</a> real estate venture Tanglin Developments for about Rs 2,800 crore, according to <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/blackstone-to-buy-siddharthas-co/articleshow/68514913.cms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a report </a>in Times of India.
Per the sources in the report, Blackstone is likely to own around 80 per cent of the special purpose vehicle (SPV), while the remaining 20 per cent will be owned by Salarpuria.
Tanglin owns Global Village technology park in Bengaluru. It is a 4-million sq ft tenanted office space located on a 120-acre campus. It counts Accenture and Mphasis among its tenants, besides having the headquarters of Mindtree. Global Village has a potential to add another 5-6 million sq ft of office space as it is now using only 45 acres of the land parcel.
Last week, Siddhartha also sold his 20.4 per cent stake in Mindtree to L&amp;T last week, is said to be selling the tech park to pare his ballooning debt. TOI first reported on the deal talks in its January 24 edition.

In a proposed realignment of partnership between Bajaj and KTM, <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/bajaj" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bajaj Auto</a> is in talks for its Netherlands-based subsidiary Bajaj Auto International Holding BV to transfer its 48 per cent stake in KTM AG, promoter company KTM Industries AG.
According to a filing to the stock exchanges, Bajaj Auto and Austria&#8217;s Pierer Industrie AG have started discussions to assess the possibility of transferring Bajaj&#8217;s 48 per cent stake in KTM AG to KTM Industries AG, with the Pierer-Group continuing to retain the controlling majority over KTM Industries AG.
Once the deal is completed, the company&#8217;s total stake in KTM AG would increase to 51.7 percent from 99.7 per cent. At present, Pierer Industrie AG holds approximately 62 per cent of the shares of KTM Industries AG. The listed company KTM Industries AG holds 51.7 per cent shares of KTM AG.
