<h3>GIC, Mitsubishi in talks to acquire stake in GMR Airports</h3>
<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/gmr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GMR Infrastructure</a> is in final round of discussions with Singapore&#8217;s <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/gic" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GIC</a> and Japan-based<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/mitsubishi" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Mitsubishi Corp</a>  to sell 25 to 30 per cent stake in its unit GMR Airports, according to<a href="https://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/gmr-s-airport-arm-in-final-talks-to-sell-25-30-stake-to-gic-mitsubishi-119021901086_1.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> a report </a>in Business Standard citing sources. The proposed equity sale, which could generate Rs 7,000-8,000 crore, is likely to be announced very soon, the report said. The potential sale will help GMR to reduce the overall debt of the company to around Rs 12,500 from Rs 19,850 crore.
<h3>Bain, GIC to pare stake in Genpact</h3>
<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/genpact" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Genpact</a>’s private equity investors, US-based <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/bain" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bain Capital</a> and Singapore&#8217;s GIC, are paring their stake in the business process management firm by selling around 10 million shares. Bain is selling about 8.5 million shares while GIC is divesting about 1.5 million shares, amounting to a total of 21 per cent stake. The sellers are estimated to rake in over $322 million from the share sale. Last week, Genpact announced a follow-on public offering by its largest shareholders. Both investors will continue to hold around 20 per cent stake in the company post the share sale.
