<h3>RIL eyes majority stake in Grab a Grub</h3>
In a bid to boost its e-commerce business, Indian conglomerate <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/reliance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Reliance Industries</a> is in talks to acquired majority stake in Mumbai-based hyperlocal logistics startup <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/grab-a-grub" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grab a Grub Services</a>, said a Times of India <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/ril-in-talks-for-majority-stake-in-startup-grab/articleshow/68192744.cms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a> quoting sources.
“Grab has been talking to potential suitors for the last six-seven months. The company had also held talks with Paytm for an acquisition,” said a source cited in the report.
Founded in 2014, Grab a Grub has raised over Rs 30 crore with the backing of investors like Oliphans Capital, SIDBI and Sixth Sense Ventures, besides strategic backers like Zomato and Dubai-based logistics company Aramex.

Post the global merger between<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/jwt"> J Walter Thompson (JWT) </a>and Wunderman, the Indian operations have been merged a new entity called Wunderman Thompson India, according to <a href="https://epaper.timesgroup.com/Olive/ODN/TimesOfIndia/#" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a report</a> in Times of India.
After the US, the South Asia is the second region to implement the new identity. Wunderman Thompson chairman and group CEO (South Asia) Tarun Rai is overseeing the transition of what is the largest advertising group in the country, while Manoj Mansukhani — the head of the erstwhile Wunderman India — has been designated chief transformation officer, said the report.
