<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Singh brothers sell 2.6% stake in Fortis</h3>
Promoters &#8211; Malvinder and Shivinder Singh &#8211; have sold a 2.6 per cent stake in <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Fortis+Healthcare" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Fortis Healthcare</a> through a block deal on Tuesday.
In the process, the Singh brothers earned Rs 203 crore ($31.6 million). They have been trying to sell the assets to pare their debt.
The brothers old 86 lakh shares at Rs 150.91 each and the remaining 49 lakh shares were offloaded at Rs 150.02 apiece to multiple investors like Norwegian sovereign wealth fund Government Pension Fund Global.
Shares of Fortis Healthcare were trading at Rs 154.20 each, up 1.88 per cent on BSE in a strong Mumbai market on Wednesday at 10.41 AM.

PE giant <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Blackstone" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Blackstone</a> has bought a commercial property from <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Carnival+Group" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Carnival Group</a>, the third largest multiplex operator in India, in Chandigarh, according to a Business Standard <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/blackstone-buys-carnival-s-property-for-rs-2-200-crore-117071900038_1.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">report</a> citing sources.
The commercial property of Carnival is around 1.8 million sq ft, including a 1 million sq ft mall, a Hyatt Hotel and some office space which is sold for Rs 2,200 crore ($342 million), the report said.
Carnival had bought this property from L&amp;T in 2015 for Rs 1,785 crore and is estimated to earn a return of 23 per cent.
According to a media report, Blackstone is also in talks to buy ILFS India Realty Fund I, a $525-million real estate fund owned by IL&amp;FS Investment Managers Ltd (IIML).
