<h3>IL&amp;FS to sell Tamil Nadu power plant</h3>
Cash-strapped infrastructure lender<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/il&amp;fs" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> IL&amp;FS</a> has put up a power plant in Tamil Nadu for sale, along with a port and a coal mine in Indonesia, said <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/ilfs-puts-tn-power-plant-on-the-block/articleshow/67781690.cms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a report</a> in The Economic Times quoting sources.
According to the report, the assets include an operational 1,200-MW thermal power plant housed under IL&amp;FS Tamil Nadu Power Company and a captive port used for direct import and transfer of coal to the power plant held under Porto Novo Maritime.
The company is looking to sell its entire stake in Singapore-based ILFS Maritime Offshore Pte Limited, an investment vehicle that owns a coal mining company in Indonesia. The assets up for sale are together estimated to be worth around Rs 10,000 crore.
<h3>Zee promoters may sell up to 25% stake in co</h3>
The promoters of <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/zee" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL)</a> are looking to sell up to a 25 per cent stake to a strategic partner, according to a source-based report in Business Standard.
In November last year, media and entertainment conglomerate Zee Entertainment Enterprises had decided to divest 50 per cent of promoter <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/essel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Essel Group</a>’s shareholding of 41.6 per cent in the company.
&#8220;The promoters are willing to give a bit more than 20 per cent stake and the maximum would be 25 per cent to a strategic investor,&#8221; said the source cited in the report.
Another source said negotiations were on with three prospective foreign strategic investment entities for the stake sale.
